Chinese Cloisonné bowl
Chinese cloisonné enamel narcissus bowl with floral decoration, in mint condition. Traditionally, these bowls were used in China to grow narcissus (daffodils) indoors around the Chinese New Year. They were filled with water and small stones, the bulbs were planted, and the flowers would bloom in spring. Today, the bowl stands as a decorative piece.
